Does anybody know where to find big spade connectors? McMaster-Carr calls them quickconnectors and the fork connectors spades. I guess it depends on the manufacturer.

I'm looking for the large size male/female about 3/8" connectors. I frequently run into needing them & can never find them.

Any & all help will be appreciated.

Try home depot or lowes. Perhaps even a radio shack.
Tried and Nappa, Autozone & local implement dealers

You might find them if you look for the connectors for the old style sealed beam headlights[6014 & similar], they used the large spade connectors IIRC. You may have to buy a pigtail connector to get them though.

McMaster didn't have these in their catalog or website. They said they didn't have them yesterday afternoon on the phone. I don't know if they special order. Have you ordered The big flat spades? If so do you have a manufacturer's name and part number?

I haven't checked MSC yet - Update - MSC Doesn't have them either

Guys,

Dad got some at a place he knows here in Ft. Pierce, FL since he grew up down here, and travels back and forth between here and South AL. You can get them for cheaper and you can buy some dirt covers/plugs that go in the end of the female, and over the male covers. St. Lucie Battery and Tire ---> http://www.slbatterytire.com/

Dad has priced them at the local Napa store at home in AL for around $70. At St. Lucie Battery and Tire, you should be able to get them for a great deal less, even if you get them shipped.

Hope this helps.
