I just read the Best LMM EFI tuner thread and thought I'd ask about my truck, an LBZ with no Cat, stock intake with A Predator 65 tune most times. I have never run the 120 tune, 85hp once. I don't want a race tune or a pulling tune. I want a mpg or mild tow tune. Am I better off with with my stock Predator @ 65 or 40 HP or should I upgrade to the PPE Standard or go EFI? Any other suggestions?

IMO you're fine with the Predator. If I had a stock truck that's prolly how I'd roll. Pull on 40 or 65, depending on how heavy you pull, hills, if you watch your gauges, etc.

You may find that your best mileage will come on the 120 tune, if you keep your foot out of the throttle. The extra timing will be your friend. Lots of guys run the 85 tune all the time with good results.

What kind of mileage are you getting now?

I must have missed the best lmm efi tuner thread. I tried to find it but could not, could you point me in the direction of that thread? I would like to read it.

Thanks!
