could i have bent my suspension mounts? i have a 6" fabtech lift on my 04 cc/sb d/a, i recently hit a washout and broke a tierod, before hand my tires were severely close to rubbing at the back of fenderwell, and now the do. although it is possible the plastic saged due to yhe thick heavy mud flaps and winter conditions. the dealer did a front end inspection and said everything was fine and to the eye to tell if the crossmembers are pushed back is deceiving. any opinion would be appreciated

I speak from experience...IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE!!!

This summer I was just leaving a field when I hit a washout in the waterway. Grass had grown up enough that it wasn't visible, but it was big enough that my front right 38.5X15.50X16 Baja Claw fit completely in it. Long stroy short, got 14 stiches in my lip/mouth and bent the front hardware on my Cepek Lift.

Don't know if your's is bent, but it was a lot closer to rubbing the fender afterwards and it would rub in reverse (I could never get it to rub before).

Good Luck

Damn that would suck. I assume it would be covered under Fabtech's warranty?

OneTall: Man, you must have REALLY hit the hole hard to get stitches.
