OK, this has happened a couple of times now with my 2003 Duramax. Drove the truck yesterday to and from work. Drove it out to the barn last night. It sits for 2 hours and the batteries are dead. I charge it and it has been fine since. A month ago, drove it out and hooked it up to a trailer, came back 2 hours later, batteries are dead. I charged it and had not had problems until yesterday. I have had the alternator and both batteries tested. All test good. I'm concerned because we leave for Colorado on Thursday to pick up horses. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Could be a loose ground on the block, or body to engine, I don't think you would have TWO bad battery's. A shorted battery would bring the other down but, both battery's would have to be HOT after fully discharging in two hours. A open in one battery would not preclude the other from at least try to start/play the radio. My bet would be a bad ground somewhere. Good luck.
