the electric seat will go back and forth but wont go up or down. is it a bad motor or what? do any of yall have and problems with the movement of your seats? im tired of sittin on a pillow

Its a different motor from the back and forth motion of the seat.
Keep in mind that your seat motors are contolled through a module, so the module may think that the seat is maxed out in one position when its really not, thus not letting the position change. Disconnect the seat motor and run a direct power source to it to make sure the motor isnt garbage.
