I've seen 'burbs that old before, but never a 3 door version. Kinda like an early minivan, I guess... That's weird.

The three door design was purposely made so that all passengers were forced to enter and exit from the curb side. I believe this design was offered from 1968 until 1971 or 1972. My understanding is that the U.S. Forest service originally requested this design and it was offered to the public also.
