Well after some playing around with my new transmission i seem to have developed another issue.. PPE Hot on Extreme tune if i stay in the throttle very long the truck acts like it is cutting out or surging.. if i let off the gas it seems to pick back up a little, it always seems to be o.k. like on short runs but if i hold it down in 5th for very long it like goes dead then back to life again kind of spuratic..

Do you have a lift pump ?

You could be "bursting".

The factory CP3 can't pull fuel quick enuf to the engine with big program's.

Some program's seem to be worse then others, I had a VA that was terrible at it.

Change fuel filter and put lift supply high on your priority list.

Like John said make sure your fuel filter is clean to give the factory pump system half a chance of pulling enough fuel.

If the filter is clean or replacing it dosen't help then I would say you need a lift pump.

There are a few lift pump system's available from vendor's on the forum here.

TTS
Super Diesel
FASS

If you do a search of lift pumps you will find plenty or reading to help you make a decision.
