I just learned something on my Allison. If you hold the TH Button in for about 2 seconds, it will lock out overdrive, and still not be in TH mode. I was told this was new for 2003. GHas anyone else noticed this?

Yep I figured it out when test driving it. It also has symbols on the gearshift exlaining it and is also in the owners manual.

Yes sir!! Comes in very handy when towing in the mountains!!

You can add a button to do it. Similar procedure as doing the high idle.

It's a nice improvement to the transmission for 2003 models.

That's more than Truck Trend magazine could figure out. In a head to head test against the new 6.0 PS they couldn't even figure out how to activeate T/H mode much less the OD lockout on the Allison.
