Hello Everyone , Just picked up a used set of Alcoa wheels for my 2000 c3500 dually . The wheels came from a 1985 c30 dually . I did some checking and correct me if I am wrong, they should bolt up directly onto my c3500 .
My question is,
Because the wheels on the 85 used a special 9/16 Alcoa lug nuts and my lugs on the 2000 are 14mm lugs , can I just slide the Alocas onto the hub , than use my original 2000 steel wheel retaining ring with the stock 14 mm lugs /center caps without having to worry about any problems like the wheels flinging off going 70mph down the highway ,lol ...
Thanks for your help
