[70 Z UC]

Looking on E-bay, I see two AFE stage II PN#'s. They are 54-10882 & 75-10882. What filter is the better of the two, and why? Thanks!

54 series is 5 layered, 75 series is seven layered. The 7 layer or Proguard Seven came out specifically for the Diesel Market. Four layers are fairly common, AFE uses medical grade gauze that has progressively smaller holes and the layers are offset to catch the most dirt possible.
