not sure where to post this but...i need to adjust my shifter, after lifting my truck and lowering transfer case the shifter will not stay in park unless the truck is off or the brake is on, i also have to push the shifter towards reverse if i want the backup lights to go on, how can i adjust it to be in the proper position?? thanks in advance this would be a great help
my guess is you would need some kind of linkage extender so something but i dont know do a search or make a visit to your local 4 wheel drive shop and see if they have a fix
I thought there was a cable connected to the tranny. If so you shouldnt have eto correct anything cause the linkage is connected and it should move up and down with the tranny.
