I have a 2003 ec/sb D/A 4x4 with 86,000 miles on it. I am a little worried about chipping it. I want to put on an Edge Juice with Attitude and a 4" MBRP straight pipe.

I'm not sure if everything will hold up. Does it have to many miles on it to start adding power? How will the tranny hold up? Do I need to take any precautions?

Thanks in advance,

Thats why I'm asking. The truck is not new. It was stock for 86,000 miles and 4 years until I bought it.

What I want to know is will I have problems since I'm adding power later in the lifetime of the truck.

If your truck was brand new today and you asked the same question, the answer would be the same. It depends on how much power you add and how hard you punish it. No one is going to give you a guarantee. The older your truck is the more likely you will have issues. If you truck was driven properly, the complete drive chain should be close to new condition with only 80k miles, it should be able to stand some beating.
