i have banks with six-gun & loader, in high tunes, floored off the line, it bangs through 1st and 2nd, but when it goes to third, or when the TC lockes up (not sure which one) it like boggs down and kinda hesitates followed by a big cloud of black smoke. someone told me to change my fuel filter (witch i neeeed to do) and add a bottle of Quicksilver 2 stroke oil to a tank. any comments or sudgestions anyone herd of this????

One thing at a time.. change the filter first, and see what happens.. Don't see how adding a heavier oil to your fuel will fix what you have going on..

Go for it regarding the 2 stroke oil....... I have been running it for a couple of tanks and it runs excellent

I agree with the "one step at a time" approach that LowNox advocates. I'd change out the filter first to see what effect that has.

I started running a quart of low ash 2 stroke oil in every tank a couple of months ago, and can tell a difference in engine noise. I have not been able to detect any performance difference, though.
