Has anyone thought of a way to stop the adaptive learning once the Alli has learned the new power from an adjustable power module.

My thought is that once it has learned at the higher power level you can cruise in the lower power levels without the Alli adjusting itself to the reduction in power.

Here in Metro NY 80% of the driving I do is in traffic and I get the impression it learns that type of driving and when I finally get the chance to jump on it..... it doesn't seem to like it.

Any thoughts??

the 2001 Allison TCM's have far less learning capabilities compared to later TCM's. You cant disable it completely tho...
