Hi guys,

I heard that the max save boost is about 30 psi, Do the mean 30 psi over atmospheric preasure ?(about 45 total).

This is meaby a stupid question. bud very handy to know.

if you put a gauge on it its going to be 30psi...but it wont do it unless you have a programmer or something of the sort

32 PSIG is the maximum safe as measured in the Intake manifold (not the wastegate fitting)

Notice when people are quoting boost numbers (at least for me) I always use PSIG for Pounds per Square Inch as per Gauge.

If it was PSI it could Be either PSIG (gauge pressure) or PSIA (absolute pressure)

For all unnaturally aspirated (turbocharged/supercharged) engines, PSIG is the standard of accepted measurements, although most folks incorrectly shorten it to PSI.

My truck idles at 14PSI....................................A:cool: :D
