I just got my truck last night and want to do a few things. I have been doing a lot of research and just want to keep the custom stuff to a minimum. I was thinking of doing a Jerry Jardine 4 in. Exhaust w/ muffler and a Kennedy Diesel EGR blocker also was going to cut holes in the stock air box. Are those good things to start with and are they all upgrades that will not give me problems?

IMO, that is a perfect place to start. Next look into getting a good tuner.
