Have a friend in Jerome ,ID., that is having a problem after tire change on a 93 Yukon,5.7,3:73 auto. Went to a smaller tire and speedo is off 4mph @ 60. Dealer told him they could fix this for around $800. Question is: can this be flashed and change tire size ? Sounds like dealer may be taking advantage. Can anyone close to area recommend someplace to take care of this?
Thanks for any help!!

That is an old system, no reflash (that didn't come around till '96 or so). The speedo is controled by a Vehicle Speed Sensor Buffer. It is a little white (tan after years of dust) box located near the ECM behind the glovebox or under the R/H end of the I/P (depending on year). There is ways to change the calibration but it is best left to a speedo shop.
