You will need to use the 6.2 water pump, as it turns a different direction for use on v-belt motors. The one piece rear main seal will require some grinding on the torque convertor cover for clearance. If you have a 700R4 you can also expect a lot of tranny problems. I had a Banks turbo on a 6.2 in an 86 and broke the convertor 6 times. If your trans is an 83, it will need to be upgraded to a late 80's style.
