Can anyone help with an issue with a 03 350 SD power stroke.
My buddy had a problem with the oil pump leaking oil .
He had the local ford deal first repair the oil pump however ,
it begain to leak.The same dealer replaced the oil pump now,
the truck is going through 3-4 QTS. of oil every 60 miles.
Thier is no evedence of this pump leaking oil on the out side.
The truck has 100K on it but has been serviced offten.

could have bad injector o rings i havd a 7.3 that did the same thing they replaced the o rings and no more problem

Pull a sample of fuel out of the tank. If it's not clear, then your getting oil in the fuel. Could be a number of things. Cracked cyl head, bad injector o-rings, or bad injectors. I've never worked on a 7.3, but on CAT 3126's(HEUI) with high oil consumption it's almost always the injectors at fault.
