Just wondering if anybody has any experience with trying to run 37's with a 6" lift. My truck is a 03 ext cab duramax and I am looking to install a 6" BDS lift and run 37*13*16's on 16*10's with 4.5" backspacing. With some trimming, shim the front bumper forward, and some more trimming, I think I can run them. A buddy of mine will sell me 6, almost new, 37" boggers for 200 bucks and I just cant walk away from them. Once the noisey SOB's wear out I plan on running 35's, but for now I wanna save a few bucks.

There are a few guys with cutout flares running 37s on here. You should be able to trim some and fit them, I'm sure I could with a 6 inch lift.

I appreciate all the input. I was planning on giving it a shot in the next few weeks, so if anyone post any pics of their truck with a 6'' and 37's I'd like to see up close shots of the bumper and fender mods.

Here's a pic of mine just after lift/tires. I have since trimmed the bumper because the tires hit it when offroading. I have the 6" Procomp cranked up to about 7.5" with 7" Betts Leafs.

I'd also say to stay skinny on the rims. Mine are 17x8's with 4" BS. I was planning on running a 12.5" tire on them, but got the 13.5" Toyos. I keep a close eye on PSI, so they are wearing even. If you can find a 9" wide rim, it would probably be a bit better for you.
