Hey everyone,
I have a 94 6.5L k1500 naturally aspirated diesel. Is there any way to put a turbo on it?

The only difference between the N/A and Turbo motors is the N/A Injectors are set to pop lower and the N/A heads have economy precups.
As sctrailrider mentions, just gather the needed turbo stuff and install

There weren’t many NA 6.5 engines in the K or C series trucks from the 90s.I did see one a long time ago that was a regular cab and a 5 speed behind it.It was a green/silver two tone and it looked sharp but the salesman wanted $15,900 for it as it was about 5yrs old at the time but the engine had been worked on with red silicone everywhere and the engine and injection pump had been slobbered with black paint. It looked terrible under the hood.I wanted the truck but shyed away from it because for one I couldn’t afford it and two it looked like it was butchered under the hood.
