I got a 98 6.5 diesel changed lift pump and IP glow plugs injectors timing chain now can't get it to start .I tried using starting fluid won't even try got harder
turning over that's about it need help

Under no circumstances should you use Starting fluid in a 6.5L IDI engine. You risk severe damage to the engine internals if you do... You can use an alternative like WD-40 or a can of your favorite cooking spray. It is much less volatile..

Have you checked for any codes?
Have you properly bled the fuel system?

Did you bleed the air out of the fuel system?
Why did you change all those parts at the same time? What was the issues before?
Did you load test the batteries one at a time after the change?

In other words, need more info.

Some one else had it be fore me and they couldn't get it started I was trying one thing at a time but can I went wrong with timing chain I put the dot on crank shaft sprocket at 12 o'clock and cam at 6 o'clock was wondering if I had it where the number 1 Piston was down but I didn't rotate nothing pulled off sprockets put right back on unless they had it off from beginning was kinda thinking it was 180 off cause seemed like it will at least try to start or cough

How can you tell if number 1 Piston is up can't see it through injector hole .try putting finger over hole got it on compression put cam at 6 o'clock urn it over to try and I check it again and put it on compression again and cam dot is straight up.im comfused

Got white smoke coming out of exhaust but wont start fuel comes out of injector line but ot a lot then I turn my key on the the glow plugs warm up you can here it ignite like flame before I even turn it over can't figure out need help
