There was alot of rust and it was a 2wd and we had no idea the journey would be such a pita to make matters worse i gave up my 06 charger as a trade in we should have just sold a kid and made room in the charger lol

the pre 1993 6.5's had a bigger version of the DB2 on the 6.2 so it pumped more fuel for the 6.5 turbo engine. the 94+ engines had a DS4 that was electronicly controled. and it run the 4L80E transmission. the 6.9 and 7.3IDI ford engines ip's turned the other way since theyre completly geardriven. on our engines the cam and crank turn the same direction and the ip turns the opposite direction. on a 6.9/7.3 the crank and ip turn the same direction and the cam turns the other way.

ah so thats a no on both?
what im trying to do is put an 86-92 6.2 ip on the later 6.5 with a week ip thats all elc
to go in my 98
thanks

yea that will just piss off the 4L80E unless you can find a stand alone computer for it. i dont know if the ip, even if its cranked wide open, will fuel enough to make that 6.5 come really alive.

nope five speed nv4500:D
but i think i might try though or at least try to find the early model or ds4
thanks alot
