I have a 93 6.5 turbo diesel that I turned up the fuel and had a fuel leak in the vail So I fixed the fuel leak a put the intake back on and now it won’t start it cranks and cranks the lift pump makes noise and the petcock at the top has fuel and the injects have fuel to but it still won’t start.

So did the engine start okay before you turned up the fuel screw?If so which way did you access the screw?Through the triangular side plate or from the top?Sometimes it’s common for some people to incorrectly install the top governor cover.

Install a piece of clear fuel line on the return side of the Injection pump to help you locate any air in fuel issues, as shown in this link:

Where was the fuel leak that you fixed ?

Is it smoking while it's cranking ?

If it's smoking and not starting, that sounds like an air in the fuel thing like what Dually said.

If it's not smoking at all, you might have not installed the cover correctly or something else is wrong.
