I am putting the new Eagle 1378s on and am considering going to a 265. I know in the past with a 5spd you could get some better milage with the bigger tire, how does the 6spd respond? Also how does moderate towing fare(say a light enclosed car trailer 5000lbs loaded)? I already have the transgo jr. in along with a Banks Ram AIr and am waiting for my PDA Sixgun. Any info?

I would not think that going up to that size tire will have that much affect at all on your towing, it will be minimal if any. I think with the added power that you are talking about you should be fine.

The 265 is about 4% different in size to the 245. So at 80mph, you are going 82mph with the 265's. Not a big deal.
