This is my first diesel & my first post here so please excuse my ignorance :)

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra that I bought with 90,9xx miles & have had alot (at least I think it's been alot) of cooling/coolant issues and I'm wondering if this is 'normal' or I bought a lemon. I have only put about 6,000 miles on it and it's in the shop for the 4th time with a cooling/coolant issue.

List of issues - all triggered by "Low coolant" message on the DIC:
  • Replaced bad oil cooler line
  • Replaced coolant tank
  • Replaced EGR cooler
  • Leaking head gaskets
I've also had the DEF tank & 9th injector replaced.

Thank god all of the repairs have been covered by warranty!!

Has anyone else had similar cooling/coolant issues? are these excessive or common issues? Truck is a daily driver & to pull a 4 place snowmobile trailer.

Thanks for your time.
