From a GM press release on the 2011 Duramax:

"Among the 2011 6.6L Duramax turbo diesel’s new and enhanced features are ... An EGR cooler bypass reduces high-mileage soot deposits in the cooler and EGR circuit ..."

Will we still need blocker plates?

maybe just points out how bad the 08 design is.

same as the dpf changes.they are injecting at the dpf now.in 08 they inject at the cylinder and raised the egt too high.

good reason for me to block the egr and drop the dpf.
