You have a broken vacuum line. That black plastic line needs to be connected. It is next to the orange line under you glow plug controller.

Is the ground wire from the pmd harness connected to the pump?

I have never had a WTS light. I just watch the voltmeter. Try starting the truck without the fuel cap on. What was the part number of the sock?
