Stock, most lifts would go between the cab/bed floor and the upper "cup" of the rubber mount.

Thanks! I was thinking of doing a small body lift after I installed the 6" suspension lift, but all these kits say they don't fit the diesel.. Sounds strange to me, chassis and all is the same on the diesel if I'm not mistaking?

Diesels are typically heavier, which would require stronger frames, and typically stiffer springs to make the truck ride level.

I'm sure an kit that fits a 3500 (1 ton) will work.

A little update. Almost forgot about the aluminum wheel covers I got when I bought the truck. Installed them and looks a lot better if you ask me. Also got the Chevrolet windshield decal.

Ordered some other small things including a remote control door lock kit with alarm. Updates will follow soon when the stuff arrives
