Ebay truck sold for 14,500. Wow I would only loose 30,000 dollars if I drive my truck for a few years (sad). Im going to call him and ask about injectors.

Did you pay $44,500 for yours?
What do you expect if you put 100,000 a year on it?
Compare that to the competition vehicles at 200,000 miles. That's a lot of miles for someone to be paying $25,000 for if that's what you'd expect.

Think about it. Would you pay $25,000 for a truck that has 200,000 miles on it?Edited by: hoot

That truck could have been bought for $30,000 or less. It is a 4wd Manual transmission Regular cab, looks like an LS. My 02 Ext Cab GMC Allison only listed for $39,000. You take off about $5000 for the extended cab and the allison, leaves you with about 34,000. They had some pretty good rebates back on the 02s, say 2-3K. Take .88% of the list to give a rough purchase price less rebates, makes it right at $30,000, take off an additional $3000 for rebates, incentives, GM card, commercial ect. Puts it at $27,000. Subtract the $14,500 resale price, leaves $12,500 depreciation. divide by 196K, makes it 6.37 cents per mile.

PRETTY DANG CHEAP PER MILE for Only owning a truck for two years. I do have to say, that truck looked good, that power dome hood on the 02 chevy has finally really grown on me. Of course the 04 hood on my new Chevy isn't bad either, lol.

I'm guessing sticker price on the truck was $37-38k.

Looks just like mine, which was 28k for 20 miles ont he clock...imagine that. Granted I ended up paying 33k sticker cause the rebate balanced out the inequity in my ford.

Dude, used truck prices are in the crapper with all these rebates and incentives, ETC, my '03 2500HD SLE 4x4 D/A stickered for $42k+, i was out the door at $30k after GMS pricing and $5500 in rebates so that just kills used truck prices. Plus that truck was high $20's new, if the guy got GMS or any of the rebates that were availabke in '02 he probably only paid about $25k for the truck if he knew how to deal, 200K miles and loose about $10k is not too bad in my book. Whats GMS pricing? I paid $32,000 and change for my 03 SLE with a few options. I bought it for 500 under invoice.
