i just installed a banks 6 gun with speedloader in my Reg cab, rest of truck is bone stock, what does it take to run high 13's? and what power level can i kiss the tranny goodbye, honestly i was hoping for a lil more performance than what i got with the six gun alone

beating on it in anything over level 2 is going to do damage. rule of thumb is 90 hp over stock is all the tranny will be able to handle for long periods of time. being a reg cab truck the 6 gun MAY get you high 13's but i would say probably mid 14's until you get the tranny done.

basically to run 13's you need a tranny and an EFI Live tune, PPE's Hot tune, i dont think the 6 gun will get you there because of the tranny protection features and it doesnt make enough power.

Low to mid 14's are typically seen with the Banks unit.

i stacked mine with a hypertech on my extended cab short box 2wd, and got high 13's for about 4 passes until i limped the tranny.

I daily drive on level 4 and have done so for the last 5,000 miles. No problems. For those that know I'm going through a rear end replacement right now, it's unrelated. With my lift and big tires and being a crew cab long bed, I still manage a 15.3. Try opeing that exhaust and dropping in a K&N and modify your stock air box to breathe easier.

level 2: + 39.5hp +104.8tq
level 3: + 74.4hp +190.7tq
level 4: + 95.1hp +235.5tq
level 5: +127.3hp +304.2tq
level 6: +154.9hp +354.9tq

launched at 1400rpms with some traction issues but it hooked up eventualy, pulls like all hell is on its heels in 4th! Get an intake, and pull that headlight when you hit the track, I have a fresh set of M&H slicks mounted on 2 of my old centerlines, just waitin for a tranny and EFi Live!!
