Can anyone explain to me the difference between 1056 and 1057 torque coverter? Im pretty sure i'll be buying a built stage V and i need a converter to go along with it.
I expect my truck to be putting out around 600 RWHP in the very near future and possibly more,
, later on. My truck is a daily driver and it will be drag racing with maybe the occasional sled pull (i was at a sled pull last weekend and there was no GM presence - i didn't like that).
As i understand it the 1057 will give a snappier shift but stall out the engine at a higher speed when locked, is this correct? I'm not worried about the 200 dollar price difference i just want the most suitable product for my needs.
