I'm doing this thread seperate from my post about the hesitation issue. I saw no need for a complete read for 1 question. I'm needing to bypass my lift pump for a couple runs down the road probably 2 or 3 miles worth. I could only find 1/2" heater hose, not fuel hose. Will I be ok to run the heater hose for that short period of time or will it eat it up and suck it closed? Thanks!

Heater hose should be fine for that purpose.

I wouldn't use heater hose personally....

I have already bought the heater hose, what will happen, will it get sucked closed or will the diesel eat into it?

Short term use, I doubt you'll have an issue. I'm not sure if diesel would do anything to the hose over time or not..
