I put on 06 Mirrors about two months ago, and over the past week or so I hahve noticed a lot of wind noise. I think its being caused by the mirror somehow. I checked the door and window seal and they seem fine. Anyone else experience this? What could it be, its annoying.

You didn't put on a bug shield around the same time did you?

I sometime get a "rattle" around the windshield pillar post. I found the problem to be the bug shield. As mentioned before.

The noise almost sounded like the wipers were vibrating. It does not do it all the time. I noticed it more in a strong cross wind.

No bug shield and I didn't level them. I like em crooked.

It sounds like if the window was down the slightest bit, or the door was a jar.

I thought I read about this before on here.

You might check that rubber/foam gasket that seals between the mirror and door. Maybe it's not seated good. Do you hear on both sides? Maybe try pulling the mirrors to the outward position and see if it changes the noise. Seems like I remember Fords having a noise problem caused by wind rushing between the two mirror arms. Not sure if that's right or not though.
