Nope, you may need the hood liner to go with the hood, but grille and good are the only changes.

You guys read my mind! I just signed in to ask about putting a 2006 hood and grille on my 2003 and saw this thread.

Is there any place less expensive than the stealer to get the oem parts?

U dealership told the body shop guy the 06 hood and grille would not fit a 03 at all!!! I know they will!! Anyway he just decided himself to just order regular boring original 03 parts! Why can't people listen?? I told him they would give him grief.

If it is going on your truck, the body shop should have listended to you. I would tell the body shop to return them and order the 05. Its your truck and your money, get what you want. Also the hood and grill should not be a different price and the install in the same manor. If the body shop will not put on the 05/06, I would take my truck and my buisness somewhere else. JMO.

Well sorry to hear about your parts not being ordered as requested. However the question of is the insurance company paying for this or are you out of pocket? Only reason I ask is because im sure if you persue him not ordering your parts you wanted, he may throw the "insurance only pays to make you equal, not ahead" scheme. Not to be negative...Good luck!

My truck is a 05 with 03 hood and grill. The key to matching up everything is the grill. The 03 grill does not mate up with a 05 hood.. It should be a direct bolt on, very simple.. Good luck with the body shop.. Arm

Took the words right out of my mouth. It is possible b/c two trucks in my town have done the same thing. grille/hood/upper radiator cover. and not that much of a price difference either . Take your business somewhere else if they don't see it your way:mad:

My 03 has a 2006 hood and grille; I bought it that way. It had been hit in the front same as yours. Only thing I don't like about it, is that I can't find an after market big mouth grille for it, that I like.
