Did a search, but can't find it anywhere, I even posted it once.

I'm looking for the part# for the 04.5 lly turbo, and the part# for the 05 LLY turbo.

To get the GM P/N you drop the first and last digit making them both the same part number

Funny, I have a part# of 97387896 for a lly vvt, and it's not a 06. If I remember right there were two different part#'s on the 04.5 and the 05.

Not sure what your number is from. The '04 part number is off my truck and it's a early build truck as I took delivery in Nov. 2003. I have several spares as well and they all have the same number on them. The '05 number is what I took off a buddy's truck so I do not know what his production date was.

DOH!! Forgot about this thread! The first P/N Diesel Teck posted matches Blue which is an early LLY.

I have 3 (4?) different LLY chargers floating around. They changed the impeller, they changed the vanes. Most desireable seems to be the early 04 LLY charger. They seem to handle abuse better.
