I'm sure this has been an issue with another truck. When I am stopped and I put the truck in gear it slips out of gear. It doesn't always do it, and it is usually when it is warmed up. I'm heading to California this weekend and wondering what it could be. Thanks

Thanks for the ideas. I realized a couple of things I didn't mention originally. When it slips out it is right after I put it in gear, and it clunks. Then the D or R light flashes (depending on what gear I wanted).

No check engine light. I had something replaced on the trans not long after I got the truck. I'm pretty sure it was that switch though. Would it go bad again that fast? I have had the truck for a little over 2 years.
