    so the latest in the saga of my truck is that I had a rear gallery plug loose that was causing the massive oil hemorrage. thinking it was the rear main, i dropped the tranny to get to the rear of the engine. worked well enough to get to the gallery plug, too. so now the engine doesnt bleed...
