I just put EFI live Idaho Rob tunes on my stock LBZ. I took a 300 mile trip second day after install, I had only driven around the block before leaving on the trip.
280 miles with 14 Gal of fuel used. Anyway you look at it that 20 mpg with cruise set at 83mph!!! The Speedo is off about 3 mph at 70mph so i used the total miles from my GPS.
Towed a 8000# Fiver back on same rout with fuel mileage of 12 mpg at 68 mph.
Great power and smooth shifting
ATP said they would send me a corrected tune to get the speedometer right.
They also calibrated the DIC to read all the info for my 52 Gal titan tank correctly.
SO far the guys at ATP have been great.

Have you called Dustin and let him know that? I had Juice on my truck and just put Kory's tune in. It's a night and day difference.

I've had Robs tunes for a couple yrs now and love them. There was no comparison between ATPs tunes and the Bully dog I was running. It definitely helps he is in my area and the customer service is second to none.

I've had problems with my setup since day one that have yet to be resolved after almost 2 years.

If i run the stock tune i get a code that no one can figure out, and ocassionally i get a different code and problem with the a/c running the dsp5 tunes that no one can figure out. Also, I can't select and monitor stuff in the software. All of the crucial pids are locked out.

Efi

How long have you been running it?I've only had mine on economy so far
Maybe I should play around a bit.I would say you need to log some rides and email them to monte and rob.they should see the issues if not may be you can email them your stock tune so they can format it and load itinto the auto cal. Reload I to your truck and then re load the Idaho Rob tunes.
If you're still having problems I would reflash at the dealer and see if atp will refund or re install the tunes via shipping the auto cal back.If they truly have great customer service they will need to solve the problems

mholmna, thanks for your post -- very timely as I am considering the same for my stock LBZ.

What tune were you running unloaded? The Optimized Stock or one of the various HP level Street tunes (85, 110, or 150 according to their website)?

What tune were you running towing your fiver? 20hp Heavy or 50 hp Light? I have a 8000 # travel travel.

I'm still learning/researching, but I'm concerned about tuning and the impact on longevity/reliability of engine and tranny. Did you have similar concerns?

Thanks.

When running empty I was on the economy tune (90hp)
Towing on heavy tow (30hp)
Didn't have exhaust probe on yet,
Will have it on before I Tow again.
