Anyone pull a gooseneck with a lifted truck? I'm running 6" of lift in the rear of mine. I'm looking into getting a 24+5 to tow my pulling truck.

I too would like to know as I bought a gooseneck hitch to pull our fifth wheel but havn't had the chance to hook up and see how it sits.

The clearance to the bedsides and tailgate driving on uneven ground or offroad could get a little risky

Get an extended height gooseneck. My father inlaw had a dump truck he pulled a goosneck with and orderd a 10" higher neck on it to clear the bed sides. I pulled it with my 6" lifted 03" I have also pulled your regular height to. You have to watch bed clearence as you said but also how much weight you put on the back axle of the trailer. Because you will have the tounge higher you will take the weight off of the rear axle. If you don't want to order a trailer you might want to look at a deck over bumper pull.

I have 4in of lift on mine and off camber I have rubbed once on the top of the bed close to the tailgate. It gets close but I usually drop my air bags down to help out when I'm on uneven ground but thats rare. I have a 30 ft gooseneck.

With a 4" lift you usually run 2-3" in the rear. I'm running a 7-9" with 6" in the rear. I had 7 1/2" in the rear for a couple years but took the 1 1/2" blocks out the other day.

i got about 12'' in the front and 10'' of rear lift and regularly pull a regular 30' G/N and any bumper tow i want without any problem. as far a a flatbed G/N goes you just cant hook up to a pierced frame trailer cause the deck is too low and the tail will drag and be on too much of an angle.
