Jeez, thanks for mounting those, jackazz, not like I don't have too many projects already! J/k, Looks great. I'm horrible at finishing work, can you give us a step by step on how you painted the wheels with a mat'l list? I'm defiantly going to have to do that to mine.

Not really much to it. I taped off all the stuff I didn't want to paint ( the stuff that wasn't painted silver) and just threw a couple of coats of ultra flat black on it.

That looks sweet. I really like the 08 factory center caps.

I would put the sport mirrors on your truck however. Just my opinion:)

I am probably going to make stickers to cover up the chevy emblems on the center caps but I haven't decided yet.

Also my truck has really no gmc emblems and it has silverado taillights so I doubt anyone would know anyway.

FWIW, z-71 pkg. is basically bilsteins, skid plate, and a G-80 in the rear. but that's just my experience with it.

Here is the otherside of the truck with the stock wheel unpainted.

I am still debating just doing them all black with a white pinstipe lip to match the truck. My friend got some reflective blue wheel tape that we put on his R6 and I really liked the way it came out. Im just not sure how the look would transfer over to a pickup. Whatever another project for another sunday I guess.

I really loved the look of your truck when you posted those pics that is in your avatar. It still looks good now though. Why you selling it?
My dad has a CC SB 07 classic and we really don't need two diesel trucks in the family. I would rather just have someting cheaper to drive around in.
