2007 GMC Duramax 6.6L LMM
2007 Sierra LMM SLT - Ordered for me and stocked with everything but clearance lights, dual alts & tow mirrors. I prefer the looks of the regular mirrors and wanted power fold.

Truck has Cognito Tubular Upper Contol Arm (UCA) leveling kit and pitman/idler arm brace kit and shock extension brackets. I got just under 2" in front lift from the Cognito kit and torsion bar crank. The Cognito kit delivers a great ride even with the bars cranked. BELIEVE IT !!!

I added the Cognito HD tie rods and Cognito Torsion bar keys. Fender to ground height is 41.5 inches and it is siting level front and back.

My Summer wheels were Ion Alloy 137 20x9 and first set of tires were Toyo Open Country AT 305 / 55 20 tires. The wheels are 0 offset and 5 inch Backspace and the tires rubbed terribly at first. I had to use leather punch to make a nice clean hole 1 inch from the edge of inner fender liner and then zip tie the front edge of inner wheel well liner forward and rear edge backward. If you get the Ion Alloy 137 wheels I think the +18 offset with 5.7 inch backspace would be a better fit. You should make sure they do not rub the UCA however.

I also had to trim some of the front and rear edge of the wheelhouse liner and trim the sheet metal (fender) at the back edge of wheel well. The body shop did a great job welding in a panel to stiffen the edge of the cut area and then painting the whole area to prevent rust. There is a picture in my garage shows the cut that was made. After all that work I now have greatly reduced to almost no rubbing issues on level ground and even while backing up on level ground !!! Just have to drive aware & slow down when turning and articulating at same time.

I just switched to Nitto Terra Grapler 305/50 20 and my rubbing issues are GONE. Not quite as beefy at the 55 series but I'll take it to have ZERO rubbing.

Underseat storage bin/gun case is from: http://www.du-ha.com/

I added the 2nd generation Coastal Tech Lock Pick installed and a Parrot CK3000 evolution bluetooth car kit to the factory navigation system.. The LockPick (plug and play black box) is a great mod. It allows DVD video while moving on front screen, Unlocks address entry while moving and gives you a hands free cellphone input. In addition you get the video input for the rear view camera.

Parrot Bluetooth kit is nice also. I may swap out to a Sony HCB700 if I can find a deal on one.

Backup camera is in license plate and is from XO (walmart.com - $86) and feeds into coastal tech lockpick. Backup camera is incredibly handy when hooking up a trailer alone. You can nail it dead on everytime. You can see hitch ball in lower center of screen in gallery picture. I suggest you wire camera power into lockpick provided power source behind radio vs, using backup light circut in rear of truck if you do this you can turn on camera anytime and it still turns on automatically when in reverse. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=5707252

Added iPod integration to factory Nav/DVD Video unit via the Peripheral PXDP3 IPod Interface & PXH3GM1X harness to retain XM and add PXDP3. Simple 5 minute install behind the glove box and it works good. it takes a bit for all the playlists to download into the system but it does it eventually. It has much better sound than the 3.5 mini phono input. Using the remote start seems to screw it up however. You lose control of the ipod if you remote start. You have to shut down and restart engine to get it working correctly. I have heard other have this problem with other brands of Ipod inputs as well.

5k H11 HID headlight upgrade. WOW !!! I just used a Generic $100 kit from ebay but it really lights up the road. One of my favorite mods so far. You can PM me if you want to know where to buy.

Radar detector (V1) is hardwired. Wire runs across headliner by driver and down drivers side a pillar to fuse box area.

GMC OEM Molded Mudflap.
