super basic question. black interior paint

Just got the Edge pod.
My truck interior is black. Seems pretty basic.
Prepped pod. Plastic primer. Painted with...wait for it....black.
It all seems too easy. Well I get home tonight and see how the pod looks once dry.
I can tell that it's totally different, even when it is dark out. I can't imagine how much different it will look in the morning!!
The black painted pod looks actually a lot darker (or blacker for lack of a better way to describe) than the dash.

I hate to bother you all with what seems like such a basic question, but what black paint should I be using for a black interior? What finish should it be (keep the dash pretty well shined).
Thank everyone!!
Stew

Find a local auto body paint store and they can color match your dash.

No, that's my question. What do I use for black "interior" paint. I went to the closest big box auto parts store and did not see interior paints.

I just grabbed whatever I had on the shelf in the garage...

I'm searching SEM products. They have what you're looking for, but we'll need to get the interior color code to maker sure that it's a perfect match.

2 options I've found
Classic Coat Classic Coatâ„¢ Products | SEM Products

Color Coat- Color Coatâ„¢ Aerosols Products | SEM Products

I'm not educated enough on which is the best product for the dash pod, but it's at least somewhere to start looking.

Memory is not the best, but I seem to recall a body shop or 4x4 shop getting me a can of interior before that matched perfectly.

Democrats: abolish ICE... free health care for illegals... make it easy for illegals who cross to stay... give illegals the right to vote... adamantly oppose building a secure border... create "sanctuary cities"... grant illegals in the country amnesty... welfare for illegals... tip off illegals about ICE raids.
And we're supposed to believe that Democrats aren't for open borders simply because they say so?

^What he said^

Its not jet black, which is what black paint is, ebony would be much closer.
