How many CCA's does a Dmax draw when starting?

How many CCA does a a DMax draw when starting? Truck is at the dealer for a random no start issue and they called to say the batteries need replaced because they are not putting out the CCA's the truck needs when it tries to start. Thing is it starts everyday. Just randomly when I try to remote start it from my phone sometimes it won't then needs a boost or starts super slow with the key like the batts are drained. This happened maybe 4-5 times over the last few months. I checked the batterys myself and the checked out fine. I load tested them with an ohm meter and the checked out fine. So I'm just looking for info when I go pick my truck up since I told then I'd deal with the batterys rather than paying 1.2 hours labor + cost of 2 batterys.

Btw this is for the 2015 High Country in my sight. All stock other than studded tires n vent visors

Not able to find specific information, but someone volunteered 1000 and more for a diesel pickup engine, not specifically Duramax .

Ohm meter?

A digital battery tester is the only accurate way to test them.

As for draw, since you dont know how many amps you have, the 700 amps that the starter draws is irrelevant.

The Group 48 batteries in my fleet dont last anywhere near as long as the Group 78 batteries in my '06 and older trucks. And, I'm a bit prissy with my batteries. Given a choice, I'll always put in a Deka battery.

Ya my LS LBZ stock battery lasted like 7 years or so. But I'd imagine these new trucks with al these bes and whistles probably won't do quite as well. I had done the load test with an ohm meter but checked voltage of both batts (isolated of course) and alternator with my shop battery booster/charger/alternator tester originally also. But the dealers equipment is no doubt better than mine and I got the printouts which read 1 battery at 63% and the other at 13%. So maybe I better consider new batterys some day soon before the worst one takes out the alternator too. I just hate to do it now that winter is on it's way out.
