I know the gauges arent always that accurate. Do you have a tuner or scan tool that will give you readings? I know mine reads off, but when I plug in either a tech 2 or my Edge CTS it give me different reading than the gauge cluster...

What does a volt meter say when you touch the battery terminals with the engine running? Does the dash reading go to zero with the engine off?

Test your battery connections with the engine running with a good digital voltage gauge. Report back.
