Service Trailer Brake DIC message on and no trailer brakes or cruse control

Took it to the stealer. Mechanic screwed with the wiring behind driverside rear wheel for hours until he supposedly found a bad pin in the connector mounted in the frame rail. I saw the pin and I think he broke it when he was poking around with his meter. Suposedly it fixed the problem. Left the steeler and the service trailer brake came on 5 miles from the stealer. Cruse control was working, quit and then started working again. My question is what would be way back there that would effect the cruise.

This started when I removed the Bullydog PMT. I had to get factory help returning it to stock because it hung-up part way through the download. All the time it was running the return to stock program the trailer brake service light was flashing. When it was done the DIC said service trailer brake system. I hit the reset and it cleared. Ever time I started it the message came back. It lasted for about 3 days and seemed okay. Two days ago it started again and when I went to pick up my new to me toy hauler the brakes don't work. How can I get them to re-flash my truck without admitting that it had a Bullydog on it.

Took truck back to the dealer today. Got the service manager involved and he put a different mech on it. About an hour later the service manager called and said they found the problem in the fuse panel under the hood. It had voltahe on the input side but not going to the trailer brake and cruise. Said it is a sealed unit and the terminal is loose and no way to tighten. They are flying in a new fuse panel tonight. Hopefully it will fix he problem. If it does then I guess the mech caused the bad pin on the frame rail. I hope I am not going to be plagued with problems that they caused trying to fix it. It makes me nervous.

personally i wouldnt worry about it, if a problem ever arises from the tech's repair then you have a recorded history. The should warranty there work if it is a decent dealer.
