HVAC Heater Box Question Help

I've put my 04 HD back together from a fire but the blower fan will not come on. A buddy that works on the Dmax's for GM in town says the harness I got that plugs into the heater box is for the manual system but is not sure what the differences are between the auto and manual boxes. My truck orig came with the automatic system and everything from the front temp sensors to the headliner fan is correct. I new something was wrong when I could only find the 2 HVAC sensor plugs on the top but none on the bottom of the dash. Could someone tell me the differences between the auto and manual boxes and what would need to be changed if my heater box was manual? I ordered the HVAC harness (#89018768) for the auto temp (which we know is wrong) and I'm hoping this harness will fix the prob. Any information you guys have is appreciated.

Thanks guys.

This a hard one to answer. This is something that you need all the schematics, and the truck in front of you. Sorry I couldn't help
