Front End Rebuild LBZ

So my LBZ is about to hit 90k. Its not showing much wear but I put on 285 75 R16 Tires on it this year and was going to level it as well.

Shes bone stock, I dont do any kind of 4x4 racing or launches etc.
Occasionally tow about 10k and was planning on getting a cab over camper in the next year or so.

My plan and this is where I wanted some feedback/ suggestions is:

-JD Farbication upper arms as i know these guys and love their work (done a complete prerunner build for me hence the 10k towing)

-Torsion/ Leveling keys
-MOOG Lower ball joints (Dmax store)
-DMAX XD Tie rods
-Idler and Pitman arms MOOG Problem solver XD
-Idler and Pitman Brace Kit Krypot
-Idler Frame Gusset Krypto
-Moog severe duty idler arm support bracket
-New Upper and lower arm bushings

Anything im missing or any suggestions on different parts one way or another?

Thanks gents.

I've seen a few comparisons between PPE, DMAX, Kryptonite, Rare parts, and MOOG in the past all with good and bad just wondering if things have changed.

First off, sounds like a nice low mileage LBZ!

Second, it's obviously a tow rig/driver so forgo the "leveling" it. It will be level with that camper and trailer hooked up. Being a 2500 you may need air bags or a factory overload spring from a 3500.

My front end is in need of a rebuild but has 278K miles on what appears to be all original parts. So consider using AC Delco OEM grade parts. Used to use Moog problem solver on all my projects with good luck but appears they don't hold up well for the Dmax. Have seen several posts on FB where the idler stud snaps off of Moog idlers. Some stock trucks too.

My trucks get used how you describe and I see no reason to spend big $ on these parts. Some people do need them but for our application I don't. Also, are your parts even loose? It's easy to drop $1K in suspension parts so no need to replace everything for giggles. For tires I'm running 265/75s with no plan to go larger.

But if you want to do it all:
-AC Delco OEM grade:
-Upper control arm assemblies
-Lower ball joints and press in new bushings (forged arms)
-inner/outer tie rods
-idler/pitman arms
-sway bar bushings and end lilnks
-Bilstein 4600 shocks
-stabilizer/dampener, any major brand

Also check front wheel hubs for play.
Take saved money and put towards upgrading trans cooler lines and maybe a larger aftermarket trans cooler.

If you want it to breath a little better there is the LML drivers exhaust manifold, 3" downpipe and LML trans dipstick swap. Puts the trans dipstick on drivers side and no more interference with downpipe. Just have to hang the glow plug controller on the firewall.

The drivers side manifold would look 100% stock, especially if you get the LML heat shield.

Are the 3" downpipes legal? Mine is PPE and bolted right up to the stock soot trap/cat.

So I looked into the LML manifold and might pick that up. you notice an actual difference when you did it?
I am also going to do a EGR blocker plate and finger stick

Bought the truck with blown head gaskets.
Didn't have much drive time on it and figured while I was there....

After seeing the moog hub failures and idler arms snapping on FB I'd consider buying AC Delco OEM grade for the steering and Timkein or SKF for the wheel hub.

Looks like for only a little more I can get the Rare Xtreme Duty Tie rods which have some great reviews. Might do their lower ball joints too.

I'm just curious, but in your first pic the way that fox upper shock mount looks to me, isnt factory(for an LBZ). What's up with that?
