Suspension questions

I have a 2005 2500 duramax that has a little over 100,000 miles and I was wondering how to tell if certain components of the front end are going bad or not. I'm running 18 in wheels with 285 65 18 tires with a leveled front end. The truck seems to have more of a bounce to it here lately and I figured it might need the shocks replaced but not sure. Also the front wheel bearings has been replace about 3 years ago. Any input would be great.

Some would say that the OEM shocks weren't worth a tinker's dam out of the box. Might consider swapping them out. Lots of opinions on which brand is best, but I put Bilstein 5100s on my LLY.
As far as worn parts, jack up the front end- wiggle from 3-9:00 for tie rod ends, 12-6:00 for ball joints. At least I think that's how it goes!
If I were you, I'd do the Hydroboost flush. You can find it in the DIY section. Cheap effective maintenance procedure that will dramatically improve brake pedal feel and steering effort.

Thanks for the info. I have heard that as well about the shocks. Going to do the checks sometime soon.
