minor clunk when turning sharp

I have a minor clunk when i turn the wheel sharp and I'm wondering if this is something to worry about or nothing at all..any info would be helpful thnx-Ridge

My last truck did that too. Time for the Cognito pieces probably.

Could be suspension and could be steering shaft.

check wheel bearings just to be on the safe side, sometimes they make funny noises. and it would really suck to lose your wheel.

Sounds to me like it is the indermediate steering shaft. I had a 99, 02, and my 05 does it. I also know of an 02,03and anthor 02 that have done it. It will get worse with time and if you call your local stealer I am sure they will know just what you are talking about. I know some that have let it go and doesn't seem to affect anything but it is very annoying.
